During my last 4 visits to Japan I have always wanted to attend a baseball game, yet I never had the opportunity to. Personally, I never understood the concept of baseball too much until I attended my first game this last weekend which consisted of the Chunichi Dragons vs the Tokyo Giants. I had absolutely 0 expectations but it totally blew me out of the water! The chants, comradery, ambiance and overall the entire arena respecting each other, even though the fans were all mixed in together. Even though we live in the Nagoya area, I felt kind of inclined to be cheering for the Dragons, but after that game I think I’m definitely a Tokyo fan. I would love to keep going to games here.
