Christmas Party, Bowling Party and Ugly XMAS Sweater Making Party 2019!

Hey y’all!
In December we had our annual Christmas party for all elementary school students! Last year, I got sick the day before so I was unable to make the festivities. Although I was a little under the weather again this year, I still managed to make it out for the event. I was going to be super bummed if I was going to have to miss another year… This year was even cooler because once the Christmas party ended, we made our way to the bowling ally to join the middle and high school students for an evening of bowling. This was a real treat because I finally got to meet a lot of the Suito and Furokita students! I also teach a lot of their siblings at GRAN, so it was also nice to meet their older siblings.
In part of attending these awesome parties, a few of the Americans and I took the time to have an ugly Christmas sweater making party at my house! So, if you were wondering why all of us were wearing these crazy ugly sweaters… well it’s because we made them like that on purpose! It’s kind of an old Christmas tradition for some families to receive a handmade sweater that isn’t necessarily the cutest… We decided to bring that tradition to Japan! We hope y’all enjoyed!
Thanks to all that came out, and I hope all of y’all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!
See y’all in class!
