Social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic was difficult for many people.  My son loves going to our local park and playing on the slides and swings, but we’ve had to avoid doing that for obvious reasons.  This past weekend, though, we finally made a trip to the park.  We brought a bat and ball and found a nice open grassy area and set up camp there.  He’s only 3, so hitting a baseball is still quite difficult, but he had a lot of fun and was even able to make some good contact!  It was really nice to be able to get to the park and play together, and if this rain stops soon, I’d like to go back!
