The coypu returns!

Last year I saw a coypu (also called a nutria) for the first time in my life. It was swimming in the creek near Mirai Kids College. I thought it looked weird but cute. It floated on the water like a duck, but its body and face were similar to a guinea pig!
Last weekend I saw another coypu in the pond near Miki Park. It was drinking water and looked really strange but funny. I am happy to see a coypu again, but I know about the danger of coypus now so I am also a bit sad! They were naturally living in South America, but after being introduced to North America, Asia and Europe they have started to destroy the environment because they’re not a natural species in these areas. In Europe, you can get some money if you catch a coypu!!
