This is part three of the right hand versus left hand challenge.

How is my Hello!s teddy character doing? He’s looking pretty shakey….

Here, I began to colour the left one with my favourite Laurentien coloured pencils. I wonder how it will turn out?

Yikes! What happened?? Something I didn’t account for when I was doing this Challenge is broken leads. Never drop your pencil crayons! If you do, there’s a good chance that it will shatter the lead inside the pencil. Then, every time you sharpen it, the broken leads will keep coming out.

Even with the broken leads, I still did my best to power through this exercise. Not only was I using my non dominant hand, but I also had the challenge of broken leads!

Hello everyone!

As you all know, I have been teaching at Hello!s for almost half a year now.

But I have never been to the 43rd floor of the Gifu City Tower. 

So last night, I have decided to go up there to see what it looks like.

This is how it looks like. It’s not as high as the other towers I’ve been to in the Philippines but it surely is amazing to look at!

I hope you like it. What do you think about the city view?

秋になるとあちこちでコスモスを見ますね。いろいろな色のコスモスがありますが

素朴な美しさが秋の空によく映えて私の好きな花の一つです。

コスモスを見ると優しい気持ちになれる気がしています。

野の花ではなく、お花屋さんにおいてあげてほしい、花瓶にいれて飾って格上げしてほしい花です。

秋桜と書くこの花は、キク科・コスモス族で原産国はメキシコ。

花言葉は、優美、美麗・乙女の愛情・野生の美しさ・恋の終わり・調和などで、色によって意味が

あるのは他の花言葉とも同じです。

コスモスの由来は、スペイン人がメキシコから持ち帰ったことが始まりで美しいというギリシャ語

「kosmos」に由来。このことから星がきれいに美しくそろう宇宙をcosmosと呼び、整然と並ぶこの

花もこう呼ぶようになったそうです。

コスモスの葉は線のように細く繊細ですが、台風に倒されてもまた立ち上がって花をつけるなど強い植物

です。

美しいのに強い・・・すばらしい。

９月２７日　今日の花。

こんにちは。講師の鷲見です。

こちらの写真は、8月ごろに撮った写真です。

とても不思議な天気でした。夕暮れ時に、突然スコールが降り出しました。

雨自体は5分ほどでしたが、一気に空気が涼しくなりました。

先月は大変不思議な天気でしたね。晴れが少なく、寂しかったのを覚えています。

これから寒くなると思います。くれぐれも体調にはお気をつけ下さい。

日本にいるとあまり気づかないけれど、海外に行くとやはり、海外の方が空が青いように思います。日本の方が大気が汚れているということですね。中国の北京のようなかすみはないですが。アメリカの青空はやっぱりきれいです。緑ももっと緑に感じます。以前訪れたイースター島は、もっと青かった。あまりにも青が濃いのでひどく驚いた覚えがあります。地球の温暖化はじめ、さまざまな環境問題を真剣に考えていかないと、災害が我々を襲ってくる時代に入ってしまいましたね。
