Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  It is one of my favorite times of the year! I love having friends and family over to celebrate together. Cooking a big, juicy turkey is so much fun, and the delicious smell fills the whole house! We all gather around the table to share amazing food—fluffy mashed potatoes, warm stuffing, sweet pies, and so many tasty dishes. It’s not just about the food, though; it’s about being together, laughing, and making happy memories. Thanksgiving is a time to feel grateful and enjoy every single bite!

バインミー（Bánh mì）は、ベトナムの伝統的なサンドイッチで、フランスのパン（バゲット）をベースにしてます。ベトナムがフランスの植民地であった時代に、フランスのパンがベトナムに伝わり、現地の食材と組み合わせられてバインミーが誕生したそうです。

バインミーは、さまざまな具材を挟んだサンドイッチで、一般的には以下のような具材が使われます：

• チキンやベーコンのソテー

• レタスやトマトのサラダ

• ハーブやニンニクの風味

• マヨネーズや醤油のソース

現在では、バインミーはベトナム国内外で人気があり、多くのベトナム料理店やファーストフードチェーンで提供されています。また、地元のバランスの取れた味わいと、多様な具材の組み合わせが評価されています。

Have you even seen a bald Fuji-san? Well, I did a few weeks back on the Shinkansen. It’s always so nice to see the iconic volcano in the distance. Once my back gets better, I hope to climb it! Would you even climb Fuji-san?

Kia ora and hello everyone!

While enjoying the last of the warm weather before winter comes along, I went on a picnic at a park with my friend! We decided to make our own bentos and were pretty happy with how they turned out! They tasted amazing too!

After that, we just enjoyed chatting in the sun and even played some badminton!

小学１年生～６年生クラスは先週今年度第２回となるリビュークイズがありました。来週のテスト返却をドキドキしながら待っている子もいると思います。

小学生インターナショナルクラスは今週第３回のリビュークイズを実施しました。（テスト中にここを迷っていたなぁ…）（何度も書きなおした跡があるなぁ…）と自分も一緒にドキドキしながら採点をしています。夏前のテストよりもできるようになったことがたくさんあると嬉しく感じます！次のレッスンの時に生徒に直接伝えたいと思います(^^)/
