で公立高校の入試ですね。

アメリカの元陸上選手、カール・ルイスのこんな言葉があります。

It’s all about the journey, not the  outcome.「過程がすべて。結果ではない。」

人によって、意見は分かれるかもしれません。

結果ももちろん、大切ではありますが、僕は結果がすべてだとは思いません。

良い結果はあくまで良い過程があってこそだと思います。

残り約1か月。どう過ごすかは、中学3年生次第。

皆さんの夢、目標が叶いますように。

みなさんこんにちは。

前回カレーの話をしました。その後もソースいっぱいかけましたもうトロトロのソースご飯と食べてますこれが個性ですカレーや、辛いカレーが一番美味しいですよね唇焼けるほど辛くしました、え、いやこれがうちの中辛ですカレーなんかを食べました。どちらもとっても美味しかったですが、まだまだ自分の好みではありません。やはり難しいということでもう自分で作ることにしました。もちろん一からです。市販のルーは使いません！

とりあえずまずはスパイスを知るということで、スパイスカレー、インド系のカレーを作って、そこからスパイスを知って日本の味に近づけていこうと思います。明日買い物に行ってきます。

I highly doubt anyone is as fascinated by the progress on the Suimon drainage canal as I am. However, it’s been an exciting year for that little canal!

It collapsed almost a year ago now, back in February 2020. It feels like a lot more than just a year haha. However, work crews have been working hard repairing and shoring it up the past couple months, and I really admire their progress.

The new supports they’ve got are super beefy. It definitely isn’t going to collapse along this stretch again anytime in the next century. I hope they’ll replant the sakura trees that used line the street. They had to cut them down to slow the collapse and make room for the work crews. They’ll really complement the sturdy new wall, I’m sure.

ハローズ岐阜本部のある一日の一場面。

ハローズのクラスで知り合って一年近くたち、今まであまりクラス外で関わり合うことがなかった生徒同士で勉強を教えたり教わったりという光景がありました。

微笑ましい姿がたまたま撮れたのでブログにあげてみました。

これからこんな姿が増えていく心地良い空間作りに励んでいきたいものです。

Hey y’all!

  Today Ryan and I took a trip to Sekigahara to get some exercise, and see a limestone cave. Despite the rain and cold weather, it was still an amazing experience because we got to see a lot of really cool graffiti! Inside the cave we got see some rainbow trout and cute little bats! 

  In all, we walked about 18 kilometers! So you could say we got some good exercise!
