Hey y’all!
Over the break, I got the opportunity to see the snow monkeys in Jigokudani in Nagano. It was such an unbelievable experience because of how close I got to them. Unlike my misfortune in Malaysia, the Japanese macaque seems to be a lot more calm and not wanting the souvenirs of visitors. They were all so cute and fluffy, too!
Anyways, I hope you guys have the opportunity to make it out there and see them for yourselves.

Hello everyone! Have you SEEN all the cherry blossoms yet ??
Thankfully, I have as well, but I almost missed them! I love walking through the cherry blossom trees here in town but, there aren’t took many Sakura trees on my normal walks. I didn’t even realize that the season had come To go see these gorgeous trees, until it rained! I was so worried that I had missed them, but luckily, over the break, I had my chance. Photographing flowers is a great hobby of mine so Sakura trees do not disappoint.

今日３月２８日は、シルクロードの日だそうです。
シルクロードと言えば・・・
２０００年前中国の敦煌から砂漠を進んだ楼蘭という
オアシスがありました。楼蘭は、荒れ果て、砂漠の中に消えてしまうのですが、
１９００年のこの日に探検家スウェン・ヘディンによって発見されたそうです。
中国と西洋を結ぶ交易路ですが、中国の絹がこの道を通ってきたことからこう
呼ばれるようです。「胡」が付くものはシルクロードが由来なのは、古代中国の
人たちが、北方や、西方の異民族を「胡」と呼んでいたためです。
胡椒、胡瓜、胡桃、胡麻など
（こしょう、きゅうり、くるみ、ごま）
どれも私の好きなものばかりなので、シルクロードに感謝！！です。
シルクロード、エキゾチックですね。
