This past weekend Blair and I went on an adventure! We were determined to go to Don Q! Whether it was rainy or sunny we were ready to go.
As we were walking, it was raining pretty hard. We came across a beautiful park. All the flowers and plants looked green and healthy from all the rain. I was so excited to see this, I asked Blair to take a picture of me!
You can always find a way to have fun! Rain should not stop you from going on an adventure and seeing new things. But if it is raining please go on your adventure prepared! Bring an umbrella and wear rain boots!

Hey y’all!
So I have this neighbor… Ted. Homie Ted to be exact. He is a cat. He doesn’t really like me much though… He mostly runs away from me when I come over, but sometimes he likes to receive some pets from me. My favorite thing to do with Homie Ted is take pictures of him into memes to send to my friends. If you don’t know what a meme is, it’s typically a funny picture with words on it that people can relate to. Most of the time memes are very funny. Here are some Homie Ted memes that can you send to your friends!
See y’all in class!

Hello Everyone! Today was excellent because I finally was able to go to Don Quijote, a store that I have heard so much about before coming to Japan. It might sound like a small event, but for me, it was really exciting! Nikki joined me as we traveled through continuous rain to Gifu City and then on to Don Q. Outside the store, we were greeted by the adorable Donpen who you all know is the blue penguin mascot of Don Quijote. When seeing this character, I suddenly had many questions: Why is he wearing a Santa hat? How did he start this large business? Which floor of the this store can I buy the biggest stuffed animal of this guy?
My questions have not been answered yet, but Nikki and I did have a great time exploring every floor of the store. I was able to buy some new makeup, decorations, and a few snacks I had been missing from Korea. Safe to say, I will be returning back to Don Quijote soon to see what else I can find! Until then, I will continue searching for that Donpen plushie . . .
**Update: After doing some research, I have found out that there is a 2nd Don Quijote mascot that I didn’t see – Donko. On the official Don Quijote website, the only statement about this character is, “Donko is mostly shrouded by a veil of mystery.” Hmm . . . very mysterious indeed.

In the rainy season a lot of bugs come into houses and buildings to find a dry spot to hang out. I really hate all bugs so this is a bad thing for me. I have seen some gnats, mosquitoes and other small bugs in my apartment lately. My cats eat them, which is a little shocking but very convenient.
There has been a green stink bug hanging out at Furokita this week. It’s kind of scary because it is right above students’ heads! I am glad it didn’t fall on anyone… Today I decided to rescue it with a paper cup and the long reach tool. Bye bye, stink bug!
