朝晩はまだまだ涼しく感じますが

昼間はだいぶ暖かくなりました。

春は別れと出会いの季節ですね。

ハローズでも4月からレッスンを始める新しい外国人スタッフが来日したり

アメリカに帰るスタッフもいます。

そのためか、毎年春は少し寂しさを感じる季節でもあります。

一期一会。アメリカに帰ってしまうスタッフとも

定期的に連絡を取りあい、またアメリカで会いたいなと思います。

Hey y’all!

 Ryan, Jeramine and I decided to go strawberry picking in Mie a few weekends back. After a quick internet search we decided that Tado Green Farm was going to be our best and closest choice. The way it all worked out was first you had to make a reservation. Once you arrived, a group of us were led into a green house filled with 5 different types of strawberries. You then had 30 minuets to pick and eat as many strawberries as you wanted. They also gave you a small cup to hold some sweetened condensed milk! 

  Overall, we had an amazing time and ate so many delicious strawberries! If y’all have some time this spring, please check out Tado Green Farm in Mie for all of your strawberry picking needs!

最近は、COVID-19という言葉を目にしない日はありませんね。

各国で感染が拡大し、ニュースを見るたびにとても不安になります。

「自分は大丈夫！」　万が一、仮に、たとえもしそうだったとしても、

自分の周りの大切な人たちを守るために、不要不急の外出や人混みは

避けるのがいまは賢明だと思います。

映画を見る、本を読む、パプリカを全力で踊ってみる、LEGOや積み木で超大作を作る…など

心と体の健康を保つことを意識しながら過ごしてくださいね。

Hello all! My name is Blair, and I’m one of the newer teachers here at Hello!s! I’m so excited to teach in Japan and to learn from you all.

Now that we are on a break, I am eager to explore the Gifu Region and adventure around my new home. Nikki and I decided to check out Gifu City this week. We searched for new restaurants, shopped at a few clothing stores, and also walked the side streets to find some lovely temples and shrines. We had such a great time and I’m ready explore some more! Recently, new American teachers came to Hello!s. You will meet Nikki and Blair very soon! I was excited to see them both this month, but actually I already knew Blair! She’s been my friend for about 5 years. We taught together at 2 different schools in Korea.

Blair and I are very different but somehow we tend to think the same about most things. Plus, we both like to travel, eat and tell stories. It will be really nice to travel around Japan together!
