Whenever I travel in Japan, I often find many “face in the hole boards” on display for people to take pictures with.I think these are a fun and cute way to interact with any attraction.
Lately, I have been asking my friends to take my picture when I find one! I love seeing how creative artist can be with what can have a face.I’m sad I didn’t start taking pictures with them earlier when I started traveling. It’s a great way to make fun memories of all the different places I’ve been to!
If you have any photos of you with a face in the hole board, please show me! I think they are super funny and would love to see it!

Hey y’all!
So a few weeks back, Nikki and I took a trip to Sekigahara Warland. It was…. interesting to say the least. You typically don’t turn a place of battle into an amusement park, but I do appreciate the effort that was put in to depicting one of Japan’s most significant battles. The Battle of Sekigahara was an extremely important battle because it’s considered to be the unofficial beginning of the Tokugawa shogunate, the last shogunate to control Japan. I fondly and painfully remember learning about it in university, so it feels good to take the time to visit the spot and town.
See y’all in class!

Today, Mariam, Nikki, and I traveled to Nagoya to have lunch. This restaurant was a Thai place that Mariam had been before, and was housed in the old Thai Embassy Building when there use to be one in Nagoya. The building was gorgeous and right next to the river. We felt very fancy as we ordered our multi-course lunch, with iced coffee and mango pudding to finish it off. I’m not quite sure what the name of all the dishes were but the main course was a soft shelled crab curry that was SOOOO delicious! Definitely worth the trip! If you are ever in Nagoya, close to the station and by the river, think about having lunch at this place! I would 100% recommend.

Aardman Animations(ウォレスとグルミット、ひつじのショーンなどの制作スタジオ)が大好き過ぎて、

This year the rainy season feels especially long and annoying! I checked the weather yesterday and it said it would rain every day for at least two more weeks… oh no.
I like rain if I can stay inside all day, but of course I go to work every day so walking or biking in the rain can be hard. My cats stay inside all the time so they are fine. I want to be born again as an indoor cat like Nick or Teddy!
