コロナウィルスの影響で、ハローズは２週間お休みをいただいておりましたが、

今週から通常レッスンを再開することが出来ました！

春は出会いと別れの季節です。新しい学年が始まる前に、こうやって皆さんと

一緒に英語を学ぶことができて嬉しかったです。

３月も残りわずかとなってきましたが、ハローズでは「春の英検集中講座」を

３月３０日・３１日・４月１日の３日間で開催します。

５月の英検に向けて、少しでも準備していきましょう☆

Hey y’all, so today will be my last blog for Hello’s! It was a year of learning experiences and being able to meet such beautiful souls along the way. Coming to Japan and Ogaki from Austin, Texas was definitely a challenge….it took a while to learn how to live here, and perhaps it’s still not at 100% percent but I would never trade this experience of living in Ogaki for anything in the world. Teaching at Hello’s every week was a blessing, and being able to teach my students was the best part. I will miss everyone. Thank you all for this opportunity.

みなさんこんにちは。

来週からハローズの授業が再開します！やむを得ない理由ですが2週間も空いてしまいました。英語に少しでも触れる機会を作ることができましたか？時間があくとすぐにリスニング力やスピーキング力が落ちてしまいます。自分もこの2週間出来る限り英語に触れられるようにしました。Netflixでたくさんの映画やドラマを見ました！遊んでたように聞こえますが、自分の中では英語力を維持するうえで大切なことの一つだと思っています。ぜひみなさんも海外の映画何かを見るときは吹き替えはやめて字幕見るようにしてみてください！

Springtime has come! The flowers are blooming~! I’m very happy about this.

We have cherry trees and even actual Japanese sakura trees in the Seattle area, so I’m not unfamiliar with flowering trees. However, there are definitely a lot more of them here in Ogaki. I’ve really been enjoying my commute to and from work. There are so many beautiful flowers to admire en route!

Here’re the blooms from a plum tree near Ogaki Station that I’m particularly fond of. This tree was an early bloomer, but it’s still going strong.

春ですね。

お庭に水仙の花が咲き始め、

子供達はある日その花を摘んでバケツの水の中に浮かべる遊びをしていました。

次の日の朝、よく冷えていたと思ったらバケツの水が氷となり見事に水仙の花を取り込んでこんなに綺麗なものを作りだしました。

今、世界はパンデミックの不安に包まれていますが、出来ることをやりなんとか乗り越えていけることを願います。ピンチをチャンスに変え、英語学習の時間をぜひ少しばかり増やしてみてください！
