Paint-balling is something I never would have thought of experiencing in Japan. I’ve always been on the fence about going paint-balling and for good reason. When I use to think about it, all that would come to mind is getting hit with a little plastic ball and being covered in paint. I don’t like the idea of messing up my clothes, so this has always been a deterrent for me. Back home in Texas, my friends would always invite me to go with them, but I was always too busy with school or work to join them. Paint-balling is a pretty big hobby in Texas, and people spend a lot of money modifying their paint-ball guns, so they can have an advantage in the sport. I’ve was always a little curious about the game, but there just never seemed like the right opportunity for me to play it. Fortunately for me, my co-workers invited me to go paint balling with them. I will admit I was a little afraid of being shot at, and even decided to wear 3 layers of clothes just to be safe! After our first match all that fear went away, and we had a lot of fun!. I think paint balling is amazing, and a good way to relieve some stress. It’s was a chance for me to forget about my worries and just have fun. Although, don’t over exert yourself, because you will feel it the next day! I was sore for a week afterwards! All in all it was a great time and good team building. Hopefully I will have an opportunity to do it again in the future!
Til next time….

I really love big Korean meals with lots of side dishes. Usually Korean food is really spicy and sort of intense but this summer I went to a healthier restaurant in Insa-dong, a traditional area of Seoul. The restaurant is really old and you can’t choose what you order so you have to take whatever is available that day! The day I went the main dishes were bossam (boiled pork) and pajeon (green onion pancake). There were a surprising amount of young girls in the restaurant — even though it was expensive and a little old-fashioned — because J-Hope from BTS had recommended it in the past!!
P.s. My favorite side-dish is acorn jelly. Humans can’t eat acorns off the ground, but if they’re purified well enough it’s okay!

Hey, y’all! So, as y’all know I am a huge fan of live music and just music in general. Any genre of music, any instrument, guitar, you name it. Music is a very important part of life, I believe. It lets you express yourself through songs and be able to relate to artists who share the same thoughts as you do, or at least it seems like.
Last week I made a trip to Kyoto once more for a live show, and the artists coming all the way from Australia just to play some Japan shows. Their name is Camp Cope and the band consists of 3 girls who just absolutely rock! Their music hits very personally and I can relate to it very well, which is why I went to see them. They had an absolutely amazing show and had fun interactions with the crowd, regardless of their non-japanese speaking ability.
