今年ももうすぐ終わり。クリスマスと年越しの時期が近づいてきました。

年越しでは毎年、除夜の鐘を聴くことができますね。皆さんは除夜の鐘聞いたことありますか。

また、除夜の鐘は108回鳴らされると決まっています。これは煩悩の数とされています。

これにより、人々は新年を清らかな気持ちで迎えられるとされているんですね。

大みそかに除夜の鐘を聞こうと起きていても、いつの間にか寝てしまっている子も多いかな？

今年は聞けると良いですね！

Hey Y’all!

So for my wedding photos, I decided to go the real traditional route and opt a western style wedding dress for shirokuku and katsura. Overall, it was the best decision ever! However, the wig was super heavy after a while and my neck started to ache. This is the closest I’ve ever felt to my Japanese roots and I feel like I looked like my grandmother.

My favourite animal are cats so I always get super excited when I see one while I’m out and about!

This cat I saw when I was in Inuyama and it was so cute, everyone was stopping to pat it! I’m sure it gets lots of attention!

I can’t help myself, every time I see a cat – I have to pet it!

今週は小学３年生～中学３年生までのクラスで英検プレテストを実施しています。英検のリスニング・リーディングの力を測ることができ、春先に受けたテストと比較して伸長度を可視化することができます。日頃の力試しのつもりで、頑張りましょう。

たくさんの場所がイルミネーションやクリスマスの素敵な飾りで華やかになっていますね。皆さんはもうどこかにお出かけしましたか？

寒い朝はベッドから出るのにひと苦労ですが、温かい飲み物やスノーアクティビティなど、何か楽しみがあると気持ちの良いスタートが切れるので色々予定を作っておくのがおすすめです(^^)/
