みなさんこんにちは。

今世界中がコロナウイルスで大変な時期ですね。

今年はコロナウイルスの影響でアメリカへ行くプログラム

「スプリングブレイク」が無くなってしまいました。

感染者が多い地域では外出を自粛するように言われていますが、

みんなが自粛していないのが現状のようです。

岐阜県は感染者数は多くないですが、少しずつ増えているようです。

誰がウイルスを持っているかわからない状況で予防するのは

大変だと思いますが、ウイルスを持っている人と接触しなければ

感染しない事は確かです！

外に出て友達と遊びたいとは思いますが、多くの人が集まる場所ではなく、

誰かの家であったり公園など、あまり人と近づかない距離を保つことが

必要だと思います。

楽しい気持ちで新年度を迎えられるといいですね！

I have lived in Japan for almost a month now and everything is still very exciting! From the delicious food I try to the beautiful places I see!

Since traveling to far away places isn’t recommended right now, me and the other English teachers explored around home. We have gone to Nagoya two times, to go shopping and to walking around Osu. Both times were so much of fun! We also traveled to Gifu to walk around the city. That’s where I went to Don Quijote for the first time, it was so cool! There is nothing like Don Quijote back home in the U.S.. 

I am so happy to live in such a wonderful country. I can’t wait to travel to more amazing places like Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo!  Until it’s safe, I will continue to see what all is available for me here around Ogaki. I also have Doubutsu no Mori to play on my Nintendo Switch, that game is a lot of fun!

朝晩はまだまだ涼しく感じますが

昼間はだいぶ暖かくなりました。

春は別れと出会いの季節ですね。

ハローズでも4月からレッスンを始める新しい外国人スタッフが来日したり

アメリカに帰るスタッフもいます。

そのためか、毎年春は少し寂しさを感じる季節でもあります。

一期一会。アメリカに帰ってしまうスタッフとも

定期的に連絡を取りあい、またアメリカで会いたいなと思います。

Hey y’all!

 Ryan, Jeramine and I decided to go strawberry picking in Mie a few weekends back. After a quick internet search we decided that Tado Green Farm was going to be our best and closest choice. The way it all worked out was first you had to make a reservation. Once you arrived, a group of us were led into a green house filled with 5 different types of strawberries. You then had 30 minuets to pick and eat as many strawberries as you wanted. They also gave you a small cup to hold some sweetened condensed milk! 

  Overall, we had an amazing time and ate so many delicious strawberries! If y’all have some time this spring, please check out Tado Green Farm in Mie for all of your strawberry picking needs!

最近は、COVID-19という言葉を目にしない日はありませんね。

各国で感染が拡大し、ニュースを見るたびにとても不安になります。

「自分は大丈夫！」　万が一、仮に、たとえもしそうだったとしても、

自分の周りの大切な人たちを守るために、不要不急の外出や人混みは

避けるのがいまは賢明だと思います。

映画を見る、本を読む、パプリカを全力で踊ってみる、LEGOや積み木で超大作を作る…など

心と体の健康を保つことを意識しながら過ごしてくださいね。
