In the states, going to the movies has many purposes, but the most common reason people go to the movies is for a date.Over the past few years, the movie industry in the US has been adapting and becoming more convenient for people to go Nowadays, some movie theaters doubles as a restaurant.Yes you read that correctly, some movies theaters are now trying to serve you dinner while you watch your movie. At these theaters you are also required to reserve your seats in advance too, which means you Can have that perfect seat without having to rush to the theater. For me, I enjoy going to these kinds of movie theaters because it is more convenient than doing both separately. Also the prices are a bit better than normal theaters.I’d much rather spend $ 10 on a burger with fries than spend $ 10 on a medium popcorn and drink.I ‘m not sure if there are theaters like this in japan or how common they are, but if you haven’t been to one then you should most definitely visit.
As always, till next time!

Last month I went to Korea on vacation. My friend and I wanted to relax somewhere outside of Seoul for a day so we drove to Gapyeong province, which is about one hour away. We visited a place called the Garden of Morning Calm. It has Korean, Western and Japanese style gardens in a huge compound in the mountains. A famous professor spent his life savings to open the garden after he retired. It really was beautiful and peaceful! Plus, the area is famous for dakkgalbi, which is a trendy food in Japan these days…

Hey, Y’all! So today I’m going to talk about how I got the opportunity to make some Udon from scratch and how difficult it was! There was about 4-5 steps, and they’re pretty lengthy too! Some of the steps included were:
- Mix flour, tapioca starch, and the water-salt combo
- Place dough in a resealable plastic bag and start kneading with yours or the kids’ feet
- Rest dough 30 minutes
- Knead again with feet
- Roll the dough flat
- Cut dough into long strips of udon noodles
The process was really fun, but it is very precise! I can only imagine how many hours it must take to make Udon from scratch at restaurants!
