My son is very much into bugs.  Whenever we go out to the park or to somewhere in the countryside, he’s always looking for more bugs.  I’m not the biggest fan, but I think it’s great that he’s very curious about them and not afraid to touch them.  

Recently, at his elementary school, the students have started collecting dragonfly nymphs.  These are small bugs that will eventually change into dragonflies.  He brought a couple home to take care of.  I think it’s a good opportunity for him to experience having a pet of his own that he has to feed and keep healthy.  We’ll see how it goes!

ベトナムの中央都市ダナンの街中で食べたフォーです。道端の低い椅子に座って食べました。３００円くらいですね。生の葉っぱをたくさん入れて食べるのにも慣れました。2,003年に初めてベトナムに来た時は、お腹を壊しましたが今回はそんなこともなく快適に過ごすことができました！

6月に入りましたね。

六月のイメージといえば雨ではないでしょうか。梅雨入りという言葉もあるくらいですしね。

6月1日現在、梅雨入りしている地域は沖縄くらいです。例年よりも3日ほど遅い様ですね。

雨と聞くとあまり良い印象を持たない人も多いと思いますが、この季節ならではの風景や様子を楽しめると最高だと思います。

私は、雨の中を歩くことが好きです。
