みなさんこんにちは。

今の時期、ハローズでは授業以外の時間を使って英検3級以上の筆記試験に合格した子が

2次試験の練習をしています。

読んだり書いたりできる英語でも話すとなると勝手が違うようで、苦戦しながらも何回も練習し、

合格を目指しています。

みそぎ団子を知っていますか。

毎年この時期になると羽島市で食べることができるお菓子です。

見た目は普通のお団子なのですが、このお団子の中にはあんこが入っており、

その表面には甘辛い味噌がぬってあります。

甘いあんこと味噌の組み合わせがバッチリ！とてもおいしいです。

みなさんもぜひ食べに行ってみてくださいね。

Recently, I went to Osaka for a concert and decided to meet up with some of my friends who are vegan and they recommended this vegan restaurant in Dotonbori that was amazing. I’m usually pretty open when it comes to food, so this sounded very interesting to me. Vegan food in my opinion is just as good or even better than normal food! So much of it is natural and grown on a farm, rather than GMO. The restaurant was really good and I had a burger made of black beans and chipotle sauce smeared all over.

最近は本当に暑くなってきましたね。梅雨はどこかへ行ってしまったのでしょうか。

前々回に続き、ロシア旅行の思い出をまた載せていきたいと思います。

この旅ではロシアの首都モスクワと、サンクトペテルブルクという二つの都市に行ってきました。

まずはモスクワについてです。

モスクワと言えば有名な建築物がありますよね。ただその建物の名前がでてこない人が多いのではないでしょうか。私も行くまで名前を知らなかったですし、今はもう忘れてしまいました。

モスクワの街並み本当にキレイでした。路上にゴミもそこまでなかったですし、地下鉄がもうオシャレでした。どの駅でおりても”インスタ映え”するようなところでした。

Homesickness strikes again, and if there’s one thing I really miss about home, it’s the trees. No doubt, I absolutely adored the sakura trees when they were in bloom, and I also appreciate their summer greenery. But there’s just no substitute for towering evergreens with aspirations of challenging skyscrapers. The Pacific Northwest is overfull with evergreens. It’s one of the region’s best features, in my opinion. The tall trees cast a soothing shade during baking summers, scrub clean the smoggy breeze, provide refuge during rainstorms, and can even contribute to cloud formation! There’s little more beautiful than an old forest cloaked in fog. I’ve been reminiscing about such a sight ad nauseam lately, scrolling through pictures on my phone of the forest in Washington to sooth the ache until I muster up the willpower to take a hiking trip in the mountains. In the meantime, allow me to share my homesick photos with you, generous reader.
