春休みに入った人も多いと思います。

さくらの開花はあったけどまだ、あと少し

でしょうか。

新しい生活が始まる前、お友達や家族で

ゆっくりとお花見でもしたいですね。

わざわざどこかに出かけなくても、最近では、

家の近くの堤防や、市庁舎周りなど桜がきれいに

咲きますね。

風の強い春、少し勇気がいりますが、

桜を観にでかけましょう！

ニューヨークのラガーディア空港に到着して、なんとかホテルに到着することができました。

実は日本から事前に空港からホテルまでのシャトルバスを予約をしていたのですが、

どれだけ待っても来なかったのです。

夜中の12時も過ぎていて気温も5℃と寒かったので、シャトルバスを諦めてタクシーで移動しました。

ホテルに着いてからもまだトラブルは続き、7部屋予約していたはずが4部屋しか用意されていなかったのです。

時間はもう1時を過ぎていて新たに別のホテルを探すのもみんなが大変だと判断し、

男子2部屋、女子2部屋に分かれて、各部屋6〜7人で初日の夜を過ごすことになりました。

みんなの疲れを心配していましたが、時差ボケのおかげで元気があるようで

各部屋のメンバーでトランプやゲームをしたりして過ごしてくれたようです。

まだ始まったばかりですが、トラブル続きの初日となってしまいました。

明日は気持ちを切り替えて、ニューヨーク観光を楽しみたいです！

スプリングブレイクで、18名の高校生4名の大学生とニューヨークを訪れています。23日の夜中に着きました。24日はニューヨークのシンボル自由の女神を訪れます。

まだ1日目ですが、これから、このホームページでも随時アメリカの様子を伝えようと思います。やっぱり北のニューヨークは寒いです！

今日は、Spring Breakの出発日です。

17:00登場予定で、今は手荷物検査が終わって登場時間までの時間を自由に過ごしています。

デトロイト経由でニューヨークに向かうのですが、ニューヨーク到着予定は現地時間の23:00です。

今年は24人で移動するので少し大変ですが、２週間の研修を有意義に過ごしてほしいと思います。

Tomorrow is the last day of the school year at Hello!s. I hope everyone has had a good year full of studying, speaking, and sharing! I have laughed a lot and had so many good experiences over the course of this past year, both in and outside of class.

As some of you may know, next school year, Sam will be taking my place at GRAN branch. I am sad to say goodbye to all of my students there, but I am excited for all of them to get to know Sam better. She is a very fun and energetic teacher, and I’m confident that everyone can learn lots of new things with her and Koya! RESPECT Nagara branch will also get some new American teachers, so I hope my students there will make them feel really welcome.

As for me, I won’t be leaving the Gifu area. I’m still going to be teaching high school students and advanced elementary school students in Ogaki, so I hope I will see some of you in the future. Keep brushing up on your English and talk as much as possible! Thank you so much for all of the amazing memories at GRAN, RESPECT Nagara, and all of the great parties and events we’ve had together at Hello!s.
