英検の一次試験も終わり、二次試験の面接練習をする生徒のみなさんが多くなってきました。

SHIMON GROUPでは二次試験の試験日が3月3日（日）ですが、一般受験した方は今週の日曜日が

テストかもしれませんね。

英語の面接は緊張するかもしれませんが、面接試験の準備をすればするほど、落ち着いて試験を受

けられるはずです。自分の力を信じて、試験で力を発揮してください！！

One of these past evenings I tumbled down the YouTube rabbit hole and got really interested in watching all sorts of cooking videos. How I ended up there, I have no idea. My favorite video that I came upon was one focusing, 18 minutes on various types of cheeses. A cheese expert – which sounds like an AWESOME profession – was analyzing different makes of cheese and guessing which cheese would be the most expensive between cheeses of seemingly similar make. It was an enlightening video; I never knew how complex cheese flavors could be!

まだまだ寒い日が続いていますね。

さて今日は題名にある通り、最近私がよく行っている「湊珈琲」という

お店を紹介したいと思います。

湊珈琲は、比較的新しいお店でお団子がたくさんの種類があって、とっても可愛らしいということで有名です。

場所は、岐阜駅から車で約１０分ぐらいのところにあります。住宅街の中に突如現れた

というような場所です。店内は古民家を改装してあるので、囲炉裏があるなど昔の日本を

感じられるような雰囲気の良い店内になっています。また、お団子以外にもランチがとっても

おいしいです！

わたしのオススメする湊珈琲、是非行ってみてください！

お団子はお持ち帰りもできるので、持ち帰ってお家で食べるのもいいかもしれませんね！

最近また少し寒くなりましたね。ただもう今からは春に向かって暖かくなっていくそうですよ！

春といえば入学式、桜、花見、タケノコ、色々連想できますね。

ただ一番に花粉と思う人もいるのではないでしょうか？

私は比較的症状が軽くそこまで苦しむことはありませんが、大変そうな人はたくさんいますよね。

インフルエンザもまだまだ流行っていますし、はしかも流行ってきているそうです。

体調にはしっかり気を付けて毎日過ごしてください！

It’s almost spring, which means I’m back with my annual excited post about baseball finally being here.  Pitchers and catchers reported to training camp and spring training games are about to begin!  I love a lot of sports, but there’s something about baseball that feels special.  It could be that there are games every day from spring until fall, so it’s very present for about half of every year.  I miss going to games back home, but I plan on going to as many Dragons games as possible.  And of course, I will be watching baseball every day from now until November.  

Students going to Spring School this year will get to go to an Atlanta Braves game this year, and I’m especially jealous because they’ll be playing my favorite team, the Chicago Cubs!  I can’t wait for the regular season to start – and this year it actually kicks off in Japan!
