今日は私の実家で飼っている猫の話を少し。

２年前に来た黒白のねこ『ふくすけ』、虎柄の『とらのすけ』。

二匹とも元野良猫でしたが、今ではすっかり家猫に。若い二匹なので走り回ったり、よく声をあげます。

どんな猫であっても、可愛いものです。

The other day, Elle and I went to Nangu Taisha to hike up the mountain that sits behind the shrine. Well, it was closed for either construction or because it had just rained. We weren’t sure. Still wanting to get some expertise, we decided to walk, yes walk, to Sekigahara. A nice hour and 45 min stroll. Along the way we ran into another temple, a cool car and Tokugawa’s first encampment. It was a slay for sure!

Kia Ora and hello everyone!

When my friend visited Japan a few weeks ago, I wanted to make sure she could see some areas that aren’t quite as popular tourist hotspots as major cities. 

We got the chance to travel out to Gujo and experience some beautiful nature!

We had the chance to see Gujo Hachiman Castle (which was a longer hike than we thought it would be) and we explored the town!

It was super fun, and somewhere I would love to go back to!

学年が上がると英語の力を測るために英語能力検定（英検）を受ける生徒が多いです。リーディングで語彙力や長文読解の力も必要になります。ですので小学校低学年やまだリスニング、スピーキングを中心に練習をする年少～年長クラスの生徒には、ぜひ英検Jr.の受検をおすすめしたいと思います。ハローズで年に２回実施をしており、次回は秋頃を予定しています。ご興味のある方はぜひお気軽にお問い合わせください。

先週から中学生クラスではNew Horizonの各ユニットの復習問題を使った授業をしています。普段は文法の先取り授業ですが、学校の定期テストの時期に合わせて、来週まではいわゆる「教科書問題」の対策をすることになりそうです。

中学１年生の皆さんにとって最初のテスト、全力で頑張ってくださいね！
