Hey y’all!

I knowwwwwwwwww. It’s been over a month since the party, but I can’t help but think back to the Christmas party. It was truly a blast and my costume surprisingly held up. I worked diligently on it, so it should have! I even attached magnets to it and took it to GRAN for the kids to play with.

Kia Ora and hello everyone!

During the winter break, I spent my time in New Zealand with my family and it was such a good time!

I ate so much good New Zealand food and I already miss it so much!

This was my Christmas dinner I ate! Turkey, Ham, cranberry sauce and lots of vegetables!

Fish and Chips are a staple New Zealand meal, usually wrapped in paper and designed to be shared on the beach with friends and family!

This was chicken wrapped in bacon with potato squares, carrots, and broccolini!

This was loaded chicken fries with aioli and cheese!

This was a custard rabbit with raisins for eyes, lying on a ‘grass’ bed of jelly!

And of course, the iconic New Zealand pavlova which is a Christmas staple!

図書館に用があるときは岐阜市のメディアコスモスによく行きますが、最近は大垣市立図書館も利用するようになりました。子ども向けの絵本もたくさんあり、アットフォームな雰囲気もあってすてきだなぁと思います。一番端の棚の、一番左側にある本から順番に読んでいます。読み終わっても「…？(@_@)」となる本もあり、昔好きだったのに今はもう読まなくなってしまった本もあり、人生のこのタイミングだからこそ心に刺さるもの・刺さらないものなんだと、どこかで聞いたことのある話を思い出しました。

I visited Mister Donut and was very happy to see that they were doing a collaboration with Pokemon. I love Pokemon so it was fun to see my favorite characters decorated all over the store. When I saw the Psyduck (コダック) donut I knew I had to get it. It was cute and delicious!
