Exciting news! My mom, who lives far away in the United States, is coming to visit Japan this month. We don’t see her a lot, so we’re really happy about it. My kids are especially thrilled to spend time with her. We have lots of fun things planned, like playing games, telling stories, and making yummy snacks together. Grandmas are like super special friends, and my kids can’t wait to show her all the cool things they can do. We’re looking forward to watching movies together and exploring new places. It’s going to be a really happy time with lots of love and laughter!

ヨーロッパのレストランは、店内よりは通りのテラス席がいい雰囲気を出して食事を楽しむことができます。しかし、ヨーロッパは全体的に１席のテーブルが小さすぎます。そのため、お皿が置けない。隣の人、後ろの人の体が触ってしまうくらい近いのです。ソーシャルディスタンス的な、仲間以外の人たちが異様に近くにいて会話をしなければいけません。日本のレストランやアメリカのレストランでは感じない違和感をずっと感じていました。皆さんもヨーロッパを訪れたときはそんな感じになるか試してください。

本日二月二十九日はうるう日です。

今年は閏年なので、一日多くなる一年ですね。うるう年とは一言で言うと、1年が366日となる年のことを指します。

これは時刻のずれや季節のずれをなくすための一日となっています。

言葉としては知っているけれど、うるう年が何かよく知らない人も多いと思います。

この機会に知っておきましょう。

Have y’all even been skiing? Well I went to Nagano to ski for the first time! It was quite the challenge since I’m still not use to being around snow. Turns out I’m not too bad at it! I fell down a bunch and got all bruised up, but I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to do it again! Have y’all been skiing?
