6月に入りましたね。

六月のイメージといえば雨ではないでしょうか。梅雨入りという言葉もあるくらいですしね。

6月1日現在、梅雨入りしている地域は沖縄くらいです。例年よりも3日ほど遅い様ですね。

雨と聞くとあまり良い印象を持たない人も多いと思いますが、この季節ならではの風景や様子を楽しめると最高だと思います。

私は、雨の中を歩くことが好きです。

Game Party was another hit this year! Elle and I’s game was a rendition of capture the flag. Have you ever played that game? I feel like the game was a huge success!

Kia Ora and hello everyone!

A few weeks ago, I travelled to Kyoto with my friend from New Zealand!

We decided to visit a bunch of beautiful shrines and temples, including Fushimi Inari Taisha, Arashiyama, and Kiyomizu-dera.

They were all so beautiful and we spent ages just taking in the beauty, along with enjoying the perfect weather!

小６クラスでは今週、these, those, theyを使って名詞の複数形の文を練習しています。日本語だと「1本のペン」「2本のペン」と名詞の形は変わりませんが、英語だとa pen, two pensになりますね。this と theseの使い分けができる生徒でも、名詞を複数形にし忘れてしまうミスはまだまだよく見られます。

授業ではpeach-peaches、leaf-leavesのような複数形の書き方も紹介しています。
