Have you even seen a bald Fuji-san? Well, I did a few weeks back on the Shinkansen. It’s always so nice to see the iconic volcano in the distance. Once my back gets better, I hope to climb it! Would you even climb Fuji-san?

Kia ora and hello everyone!

While enjoying the last of the warm weather before winter comes along, I went on a picnic at a park with my friend! We decided to make our own bentos and were pretty happy with how they turned out! They tasted amazing too!

After that, we just enjoyed chatting in the sun and even played some badminton!

小学１年生～６年生クラスは先週今年度第２回となるリビュークイズがありました。来週のテスト返却をドキドキしながら待っている子もいると思います。

小学生インターナショナルクラスは今週第３回のリビュークイズを実施しました。（テスト中にここを迷っていたなぁ…）（何度も書きなおした跡があるなぁ…）と自分も一緒にドキドキしながら採点をしています。夏前のテストよりもできるようになったことがたくさんあると嬉しく感じます！次のレッスンの時に生徒に直接伝えたいと思います(^^)/

１１月１２日は留学の日だそうです。

留学、いいですね。

外国で勉強するなんて素敵なことです。

外国で暮らしていた時、その国の言葉を学ぶ機会があり、現地の先生にレッスンを

受けたり、英語のレッスンを受けたことがありました。

いろんな国の先生とお話しすることは文化の違いもあり楽しかったです。

英語を学んでるみんなには、ぜひ一度留学を考えてみてほしいですね！

Pocky Day in Japan is celebrated every year on November 11, and it’s all about sharing the joy of eating Pocky! Pocky is a crunchy, chocolate-covered biscuit stick that comes in lots of fun flavors, like strawberry, matcha, and cookies and cream. The date, 11/11, looks like four little Pocky sticks lined up in a row! On Pocky Day, friends and family enjoy Pocky together, play fun Pocky games, and sometimes try creative recipes with Pocky sticks. It’s a day to snack, share, and enjoy a sweet treat that brings smiles all around. Who doesn’t love a tasty snack day?

ベトナム料理の「ソイガー」です。Youtuberの人がおいしいと言っていたので食べてみました。「ソイ」が「もち米」で「ガー」が鶏肉です。カッリとした鶏肉と、もち米のねっとりとした甘さが何とも言えない一品でした。３００円くらいだったと思います。みなさんも「フォー」以外に食べてみては！！！

11月9日はいい靴の日らしいです。

私自身、靴が好きで主にスニーカーを愛用しています。

他にもブーツやサンダルなども好きで、いいものを見つけてしまうと買ってしまいます。

そもそもいい靴とは何か。単に高い靴がいい靴というわけでもない様に思います。

長く履ける靴、安くても買い替えがすぐにできる靴、好きだと思えるデザイン、誰かからプレゼントされたもの。

いい靴の定義は人それぞれですから、自分が大切だと思える靴に出会えるといいですね。

ちなみにおすすめのスニーカーはニューバランスですよ。

I know we’re a few days off now, but I just have to say that Halloween time was such a blast this year. Thank you to all that participated in all of the festivities. All of y’all’s costumes were so cute!

Kia ora and hello everyone!

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go to Arashiyama in Kyoto! I really wanted to eat matcha ice cream when I was there, and I did! It was so tasty – I even forgot to take a photo!

It was nice being able to walk around on a sunny, warm day, especially now that the weather is cooling down. I’ll miss summer, but I’m definitely excited for winter to come along!
