Kia ora and hello everyone!
Hamilton, New Zealand is famous for having a beautiful botanical and sculpture garden in the middle of the city, with themed gardens from Italy, India, China, Japan, and so many more!
It attracts thousands of tourists each year and it was my favourite place to hang out when I lived there. I went back during December and appreciated spending time in nature and taking lots of photos!
I hope you can go one day!

We all know about classic ice cream flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. But did you know there are some really weird flavors out there? It’s true! In Japan, you can find flavors like sweet potato, wasabi, and even squid ink! Yes, you read that right—ice cream that tastes like squid ink.
In Italy, there’s a flavor called gorgonzola, which is made from blue cheese. Imagine having that for dessert! In the United States, there’s a flavor called bacon ice cream, which mixes sweet and salty in a very unusual way.
So, would you try one of these strange ice creams? Or would you stick with your chocolate chip cone? Maybe next time you’re at the ice cream shop, you’ll find something totally wild and give it a taste. You never know what’s out there in the world of frozen treats!

Unicorns are magical creatures that look like horses with a single horn on their heads. Many people believe they are real—at least, in stories! The unicorn has appeared in myths, fairy tales, and legends from all over the world for hundreds of years.
Unicorns are often shown as white and sparkly, with long flowing manes and tails. They are usually gentle and kind creatures, sometimes even with magical powers. In some stories, the unicorn’s horn could heal sickness or purify water.
But… did unicorns ever really exist? There is no scientific proof of real unicorns, but some scientists think ancient people might have seen animals like the Indian rhinoceros and thought they were unicorns. Others believe that unicorns are just part of a magical imagination!
Whether or not unicorns exist, they sure make our world a little more magical. Maybe one day you’ll discover a unicorn in a far-off land!

Kia ora and hello everyone!
When I was in New Zealand last month, it was summer there! Since NZ is in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s seasons are flipped which means when it’s winter in Japan, it’s summer in NZ!
It was a really beautiful summer this year and I spent a lot of time hanging out at the local lake with my friends. Here they did water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding and jet-skiing! It was really beautiful and relaxing!
Are you excited for summer?

Jellyfish are some of the weirdest animals in the ocean. They don’t have brains, hearts, or bones, but they can still move and sting! Jellyfish are made up of 95% water, and their bodies are like squishy, clear balloons. Some jellyfish are small, but others can be very big. The lion’s mane jellyfish has tentacles that are longer than a bus!
One of the coolest things about jellyfish is their glow. Some jellyfish can glow in the dark! This is called bioluminescence. It helps them hide from predators or even find food in the deep, dark ocean.
Even though jellyfish might seem strange, they are important to ocean life. They help balance the food chain and provide food for other animals like sea turtles.
Next time you see a jellyfish, remember: it’s not just a squishy blob, but a fascinating creature!
